Here come the Reds

In another division match up; Cincinnati comes to Wrigley. Rumor around the league is that this Reds team is one of the up and coming of the entire league. Dusty Baker has a lot of talent both in his farm system and some have already arrived to the big team.

The Cubs haven’t played since that exhilarating 11 inning win on Saturday thanks to Aramis Ramirez’s walk off home run. A bright note was also seeing Angel Guzman earning his first career win.

Tuesday will be our first opportunity to give Rich Harden a win for the year. The Milton Bradley experiment isn’t looking too incredible promising so far. I had some major concerns with letting DeRosa go. Even though he is playing very well for Cleveland, I think that Fontenot is having a solid start. The Reds are equipped with 2 young stud pitchers and a future stud in Brandon Phillips and maybe Jay Bruce. Our bullpen has seen a lot of innings so far. I want to see our starters stretched a little later into the games. Every time we let our pitching get exposed it is the start of poor results.

We are now in sole possession of the top spot in the Central. My personal goal is to see us keep it for the rest of the year. It looks like Brewers fans are already getting ready for football season and the Pirates are still the Pirates. It will be nice to crush any hopes the Reds of have of winning the division and send them back to the cellar.

Chicago Bliss's Kimberly Anderson interview!!

It is with extreme pleasure that WCS is interviewing another Chicago Bliss girl ! So without further delay let me introduce Kimberly Anderson!!!!!

So Kimberly what was the reasoning on becoming a Chicago Bliss Girl?

I remember hearing about the Lingerie Bowl a few years ago and thought what an awesome concept. I thought that it was ingenious to get a bunch of beautiful women together to play full contact football. I've always had a love of sports, football in particular, so when I heard that Chicago was casting for it's first expansion team, I went for it!

The LFL has really gotten alot of publicity in ther news and online it looks like the league should really take off.....how does it feel to be in a league on the ground floor with soo much upside? You are pioneers in this league!!

Myself and the whole league are really excited to be a part of something that the public and media are so fascinated with. The Bliss is ready to set a precedent in the sports market and be a part of history! We really want to make the greatest impact within the city and the community with our events, games, and charitable ventures. Chicago has such a passion for their sports and I see the Chicago Bliss falling very nicely into its family. The energy around the city during a Bears game or Cubs game is unlike anything else I've experienced in any other city. It makes me very proud to be a part of something that is going to add even more electricity to Chicago!

How did you become involved with the Bliss and what exactly drew you to their organization?

I contacted the talent director after seeing a profile for the Lingerie League on Model Mayhem. I emailed her and told her to let me know if Chicago is EVER casting for a team of their own. I was contacted a few months later and went to the casting in September. I thought it would be so awesome to be a part of a great organization that values not only the way a woman looks but also her mental and physical ability on the field. I am someone that believes in constantly challenging themselves and being a part of a real commraderie.

You have had a couple practices already how do you see the team coming around and what position do you think you will excel at?

The Bliss' official practices start in May, but the team as a whole thought it would be in our best interest to get together as much as possible to practice. We really want to bring 110% percent of ourselves into our first game. Right now, we are trying to gauge each other's strenghths and weaknesses and really figure out the best dynamic for playing on the field. We are already a family. It's like waking up one day and having 12 sisters! We really support one another and our positions on the roster, but we also support each other as individuals and the projects we have going on in our professional careers. As far as positioning is concerned, I think our coach will end up with the final say. For me as an individual, I have some speed and agility so I can see myself as a running back or defensive back for sure. I can run the ball and I am tougher than my frame might lead on so I can take some hits!!

I saw thru my research that Dennis McKinnon is coaching your team how does it feel to be coached by a real Chicago Bear that was a Super Bowl Champion and what is his coaching style ?

The LFL is still finalizing the coaching staff and will make an official announcement once this has been accomplished. I would be honored and privledged to be coached by someone of Dennis' caliber and character. He has some of the greatest working knowledge and experience in the game.

I see the LFL has released their schedule and yourBliss start real play on September 11 2009 vs. Miami Caliente do you know wher games will be held yet and how pumped are you to get in the first real hit?

The LFL is working tiredlessly to finalize the venues for each of the 10 cities. The website will be continuously updated to vocalize these things. I am so pumped to run out onto that field for the first time! It's almost like being a kid and waiting to wake up on Christmas morning!!

I also know you do alot of modeling what was your favorite shoot and why?

Yes, I work full time and am also a full time model. I was really blessed and lucky to shoot with Eric G of Gea Images out in Los Angeles for the first time. He is one of the most talented people I have ever worked with. He has had work published in a lot of magazines including Maxim. He and I share a mutual friend and he thought that I had a very unique look and I thought he took amazing pictures. We decided to shoot together and I thought I would have these great professional pictures to show my grandkids one day! After Eric posted my pictures on his page and website, he got such an overwhelming response to them that a modeling career was born. I owe a lot of my success to him and really remember our first shoot as a great and fun learning experience as well. That was about a year and a half ago and we try to shoot together every few months or whenever it is possible.

So let your fans get to know Kimberly a little better tell us about your exciting life a little! (Career,Family and aspirations!)

I'm a very typical midwest girl at heart. I really enjoy spending as much time with my family and friends. I love to cook and spend a good amount of my down time in the kitchen. I also love to dance and have been for years so I spend a lot of time with my girls on a dance floor too! I'm a columnist for a magazine set to launch its first print edition in January. I am a critic that goes out and reviews clubs, bars, restaraunts, gadgets, movies, dvds, cars, spas, etc. It is really great to be able to experience all of these different places and things and at the same time write, which is something I went to college for. I wrote my first review last week on the 2009 Cayenne Turbo S!! I plan on spending a lot of my down time concentrating on this column and reviewing the best of the best of what Chicago and Los Angeles has to offer. I also love to watch sports! It is very typical to see me on a Sunday at a local pub watching the games! I As far as my future goes: I am really honored to have this opportunity to play in the LFL and am hoping to use this as a way to challenge myself and give back to the community. After its all said and done I see myself in a few years continuing to work in event planning and starting my own company. I will continue to play football and model until they tell me I have to quit!! I want to say thanks to Windy City Sports for taking the time to interview me! Please go to www.LFLus.com to get the latest news and information on the Chicago Bliss and all the LFL teams.

Thanks again for the interview and if you need any help promoting the league you know where to find me!!!

Keep the faith!!!

"Keep The Faith"
patriots Pictures, Images and Photos
That is your new motto for this NFL season. Yes. Tom Brady's done. But that doesn't mean that the Patriots season is as well. You guys have been around Belichick's system long enough to know that he doesn't need stars, and that everyone's replacable. Yes. Even Tom Brady. Even Tedy Bruschi, even Rodney Harrison.

Remember how Tom Brady became a household name? Exactly. Drew Bledsoe went down in the second game of the season. Not one of you thought that Brady could lead the team. But what happened? You got to the Super Bowl, and in the second classiest thing in NFL history, were announced as a team, embodying the spirit of America. That was after 9/11. The anniversary is coming up. America will take care of the Patriots, just like the Patriots took care of America that year.

Who's to say that Cassel won't step up big time in Brady's absence? Who's to say that the running game won't be there. 3 talented backs, you're set. The receivers are nothing but stellar, and so is the offensive line. You don't need a superstar at Quarterback. Anyone will do. It just takes a little bit of character and determination from every other player on your team, something that Belichick demands anyway.

I beseach you, don't give up on the Patriots campaign this year. Don't lose hope. Keep the faith. They'll be good. I promise. How can they not be? With the talent they have, and one of the most loyal fan bases on the face of this Earth.

Think back to 1972. The Dolphins, undefeated. Did they have a star at QB for that season? No, Griese went down. Did they still go undefeated, and win the Super Bowl? Yes. The Steelers a few years ago. Tommy Maddox goes down in game one. Who's left to replace him? An unknown rookie from Miami of Ohio. Ben Roethlisberger. What happned? 15-1. Anything's possible in the NFL. All it takes is heart.

Keep the Faith!!
